Kumo Bed

Japanese simplicity - float above the floor on this simple futon bed ("kumo" is a Japanese word for cloud). Choose a dark wenge stain and no headboard for the definition of minimal, add a headboard if you fear for your pillows! The photo shows a wenge stained pine Kumo. Detail photos show a sanded pine Kumo with a headboard.

For real Japanese styling remember to keep the room simple and the colour palette limited. To keep your room uncluttered, use underbed drawers and choose the Kyoto bed (not shown) which is 5cm higher than the Kumo - the base timbers are larger to create more space for the drawers. Both the Kumo and the Kyoto beds can give your room a true Japanese feel.

Delivery

Our prices include delivery on the UK mainland – except for Scotland, Wales and Cornwall for which delivery costs £10.

Within the Sheffield area we usually deliver on Saturdays.

Outside the Sheffield area we use a carrier called Tuffnels. Delivery will be on an agreed weekday between 8am and 6pm. Alternatively, you can specify delivery on an agreed weekday between 8am and 1pm or on a Saturday between 8am and 2pm – for this there is a charge of £25.
