Shalimar Bed

The inspiration for the floral chain pattern carved into the legs and headboard of this bed came from the Shalimar gardens in Kashmir. The bed is made from sheshamwood, sometimes called Indian rosewood, by a Bishnoi family in India - exclusively for the Natural Bed Company. The Bishnoi are great conservationists - Click here for more about the Bishnoi people.

The quilted silk bedspread is currently available from the shop, in the blue/green as shown, also in red/gold, price £350.

Delivery

Our prices include delivery on the UK mainland – except for Scotland, Wales and Cornwall for which delivery costs £10.

Within the Sheffield area we usually deliver on Saturdays.

Outside the Sheffield area we use a carrier called Tuffnels. Delivery will be on an agreed weekday between 8am and 6pm. Alternatively, you can specify delivery on an agreed weekday between 8am and 1pm or on a Saturday between 8am and 2pm – for this there is a charge of £25.
